Show notes

This week on Dead Air Valley, Silas Van Wyck visits Pine Bush, a farming hamlet of 1,659 people in the Town of Crawford, Orange County, billed by the Haunted History Trail of New York State as the UFO Capital of the East Coast. From the 1980s boom in alleged sightings to a Main Street institution with numbered exhibits, a MUFON collaboration, and an alien abduction photo-op, Pine Bush turned the unexplained into a very organized local fact.

Two Haunted History Lantern Tour dates remain this October. The tour is guided by lantern through the hamlet's haunted locations, with findings from paranormal author Linda Zimmermann and Pine Bush historians, and ends with Victorian tea and dessert.
