Dubs now tell you the video is coming

Dub a video episode and Rebel says up front that you'll get the dubbed video too, then shows its progress while it's made.

A dub of a video episode has always made a dubbed video, but nothing on screen said so. It felt like you'd only get audio. Now each step tells you what's on its way.

How it works

  1. Confirm the dub

    Before you start, the dialog says you get the video too: the same picture with the new voice.

  2. Leave it running

    While it works, the row reads “Making video…”. You can leave the page and come back.

  3. Hear it straight away

    The preview starts a little way into the episode, so you hear the new voice instead of your intro music.

Good to know

  • A long episode can take about 20 minutes from start to finished video.
  • Older dubs that were missing their video have it now.
