The Season That Vanished: What We Know, What Was Claimed, and Why the Backup Matters Most

Reporting from the Uncanny Valley, Episode 14, October 16, 2026. The completed edit of season two of The Challenge Sverige disappeared weeks before its November 22 premiere, TV4 has pushed the premiere to 2027, and the season must be recut from raw footage that survives. Aftonbladet, citing unnamed sources, reported that an AI agent with server access deleted the season. TV4 disputes that account, says its investigation found the human factor and not AI, and says the big problem is that the backup did not work. This episode separates what is confirmed from what was claimed, and asks what makes any deletion reversible. Ellis Ward provides the systems lens. Hosted by Noel.
