Episode 001: The Risk of Becoming

Life’s a Risk is more than a podcast. It’s a space for real conversations about life, self-awareness, healing, faith, and the courage to become someone different from who your circumstances taught you to be.

I’m Manuel Alcantar, also known as CHOSEN1MANNY, from Long Beach, California. I’m not here pretending to have life figured out. I’m still rebuilding, learning, and becoming myself.

Through my own experiences, I want to help people feel heard, understand the patterns that shape their lives, break generational cycles, and recognize that their pain doesn’t have to become somebody else’s pain.

Each episode will turn real experiences into reflection, understanding, and one intentional action listeners can take in their own lives.

My mission is simple: turn pain into understanding, understanding into awareness, and awareness into acts of kindness.

Because sometimes changing the world doesn’t begin with doing something extraordinary. It begins with one conversation, one person feeling understood, and one decision to treat somebody differently.
